Christian Louboutin shoes size

Christian Louboutin shoes are sized using the Italian size scale (to convert between sizing conventions, please refer to our international size conversion chart).
 
In general, Christian Louboutins run small relative to standard USA sizing.  The general rule of thumb is to size up 1/2 size from your §Фnormal §Ў size in mainstream brands.  For more specific fit information, please see the style-specific guidelines.
 
For those who are already familiar with Christian Louboutin, we consider your §Фtypical §Ў Christian Louboutin size to be your size in the Simple, New Simple, Very Prive or Numero Prive styles.
 
Armadillo / Turbella
 
Runs slightly large vs. typical Christian Louboutin sizes, especially in leather fabrications.  Most wearers are likely to require heel grips at some point in time, as the heel cup tends to stretch with wear. 
.effective heel height: 100mm (120mm ЎмЎмC 20mm platform)
.wide feet:  standard Christian Louboutin size (leather & satin)
.medium feet: 1/2 size down from standard Christian Louboutin size (leather), standard Christian Louboutin size (satin)
.narrow feet: 1/2 size down from standard Christian Louboutin size (leather & satin)
Fit Issue Alert: the dЎЇOrsay cut of the Armadillo/Turbella is not recommended for those whose feet are wide at the ball of the foot, but narrow in the heel.  This type of foot is not suited to the proportions of the toe box vs. the heel cup in this shoe style.
 
Patent Leather (all styles)
 
Patent leather versions tend to run small; 1/2 size up from kid leather or suede version of the same model.
 
Pigalle 120
 
Pigalles exhibit significant fit variation compared to both Christian Louboutin and mainstream shoe sizing.  Typically the pigalle runs large and most will need to size down from their typical Christian Louboutin size.  The vamp of the pigalle is low-cut on both the sides and the front; some toe cleavage will be revealed.  
.effective heel height: 120mm
.wide feet:  standard Christian Louboutin size or 1/2 size down
.medium feet: 1/2 size down from standard Christian Louboutin size
.narrow feet: 1 full size down from standard Christian Louboutin size
Fit Issue Alert: Narrow feet may not be able to wear this style!  The low cut of the vamp means this shoe may not stay on very narrow feet as the material simply does not extend high enough to surround the foot sufficiently.
 
Pour Monsieur
 
Fit Issue Alert: The decorative bows on this style project inward (towards each other) from the top of the shoe, which makes walking in them extremely awkward as the tips of the bows tend to catch on one another with each step.  Be prepared to make some modifications to make them more practical for normal wear.
